I've really only recently in the past two or three years really gotten comfortable with my artwork (that place where you're still hyper-critical of yourself but know well-enough that sometimes it's time to sign your name and be done with it). I thought I'd share some of my earliest fanart from high school along with a lot of unfinished newer artworks and sketches that I haven't posted before.

Summary: This ficlet is for eilowyn who wanted a little interlude between Spike and my OC Ursula (from my still-not-finished comic- London Calling), so I decided to write how the two met.

Medium: Drawing and colouring in Photoshop CS3.
Rating: Totally Worksafe.
Summary: In my comic London Calling, my OC Ursula is Eastern Orthodox, so with Pascha (Easter in the Greek Church) being tomorrow, I thought it would be fun to do a piece with some Paschal themes. Spike (who is very brunette and sheeple-headed) is holding a tsoureki (Easter bread) with a kokina avga (red egg) on top. Ursula is also holding some kokina avga. They are wearing my own version of Greek wedding stefana (floral wreaths) with Easter lilies.

Here's a video of me giving James my comic. He was really really surprised and happy. The sound on the video is kinda wonky because of the sheer volume of people in the autograph ballroom. He said, "Looks like I got my episode after all!" He was a real sweetheart. Steve is amused by SororitySarah's photograph she wanted autograph.

Summary: Spike as the ringmaster and (a non-pregnant) Ursula as the girl on the flying trapeze. Done for the "Spike Goes to the Circus" Challenge at nekid_spike. This piece is also going to be the back cover of my comic book.
