I'm a little behind on completing the pages of the comic, but I managed to condense pages six through nine into just one page. I think it works out better like this. Keeps it faster paced.

And so the plot is revealed! For those of you who do not know, James Marsters was asked at Collectormania, I believe, about what his plot would be for a Spike movie. He gave a rambling but well-thought-out summary of his idea that last about ten minutes. A lot of people did not like his idea for various reasons (some thought it would be silly and some were upset because JM said Spike finds a new girlfriend), but I knew that his idea could be great with a little polishing so that's what I'm working with.
* The design on Spike's Absinthe t-shirt was drawn from a poster that is by Madame Talbot's Victorian Lowbrow. At the time this comic was made I thought that this imagery was an actual Victorian advertisement, and I want to give credit where credit is due for her beautiful artwork. This comic was made for fun only and is not being sold. It's totally not for any kind of profit. :D
Previous Parts: Cover, Pages 1-5.

I like to think that Spike helps sneak Ursula across the roofs and they watch movies from above the theatre... or something romantic like that. ^__^
There are six Jamesy references in this picture! The PSILY on the marquee and the Superman shirt are two! Can you find the four others? LOL.

4. Superman tee though I didn't know that was a reference till you said...
5. Um... London City? His song?

Well, as James likes to say that Spike is the "ultimate loser," not in the sense that he's a loser, it's that he loses everything... and yet still finds the courage to carry on which makes him the ultimate hero.
They're just walking past the theatre... and I don't think Ursula would be cruel enough to make him watch P.S. I Love You. XD LOL. I like to think that her mom does like him, but that he's convinced himself that she doesn't. Moms like Spike... Joyce liked him at least. ^_~

Question: I can figure out the 'Dragonball' and 'PS I love you' posters, but what is the one in the middle?

I can't wait to see, where you're going to take the plot!

Let's just say I'm definitely not Joss as far as plot goes. ^_~

I'm afraid that the comic hasn't been updated in a while (and won't be until December). I'm currently working on my graduation art show project for university, so I have no time for my favourite pet project. It WILL be finished though! XD

They are so lovely in bed together with the snuggling and spooning. I don't always go for domestic bliss in fics, but I really like this. Maybe because it's not picket fences and suburbia, but London, jobs in pubs and video shops, enjoying the Sex Pistols and Monty etc..
Of course, it all has t be upset to add drama to the story - and if you're gonna be faithful to James' idea, cos I'm sure he says he fights some big bad. But I hope not too faithful! James says Spike just ends up with his new boots, but oh no - Ursula and the baby!
This is very beautiful as always. I love the occasion splash of colour to contrast with the black and white.
As well as the two 'in bed' panels i particularly love the 1st and 5th panel.
I love all your attention to detail - P.S. I love you on at the cinema, Spike's Superman t-shirt - especially as he's talking about hanging up his tights and cape ( as if).
I like your London street in the first panel, it feels very right. have you ever been to London or elsewhere in the UK? Ha, you've even got the bins right.
Did you finish this for James?
Thanks for sharing it, I ADORE it.

I think Spike makes reference to the "diabolical torture device- the comfy chair" in Touched, and Andrew and Jonathan reenact the "Dead Parrot" sketch in Life Serial. XD

I did spend about two weeks in London when I was in high school. I loved it so much. I have a photo of my then-boyfriend finding a "Vicious Gangs of Keep-Left Signs" petting zoo in a park near Piccadilly Circus (aka it was a fenced in area of park landscaping equipment, but our terror was still very real LOL).
I did have to tweak James's ideas just a little bit. It's not finished as of yet, but when I presented these pages bound with the script for the rest of the comic to James. He's talked to me about his ideas and such since, and actually at ValenCon this year he asked me if I could finish it for him (he also had some script notes heehee). I told him I would try. Maybe by next Dragon*Con, I will have it finished. :D

Though I hope he's coming round to the idea of not losing the girl? When I heard his concept I loved that Spike just ends up with his new boots and loses everything else, it's so tragic yet amusing. But now I love Ursula! :o)
Thanks for those reminders about Touched and Life Serial, I remember now, but god you know your stuff.
"Vicious Gangs of Keep-Left Signs" petting zoo - LOL ! ( That'd be Green Park - original name isn't it).

He also wants to do a Supergirl comic/movie too. XD
