*flails* One of these days I'm going to make a real post, but today is not one of those days. I'm in kinda a weird half-happy/half-depressed hormonal state. I'm not sure what to make of it. I blame it on lack of sleep and dealing with the fact that I move back to Murfreesboro on the 24th.

I'm looking for info or scans from Spike: Shadow Puppets issue 3. Lines of dialogue, random cuteness, something you really liked, anything. Just leave a comment.

Early Review of Shadow Puppets:

The interview gave me a horrific mental image of Spike being forced into Forever 21 and Wet Seal by a gaggle of teenage girls. XD

Just around the corner (well, in June), Spike's idyllic bachelor lifestyle is going to get stuffed up, literally. You know what's coming, but the build-up is so, so sweet, thanks to the capable team of Brian Lynch and Franco Urru. Enjoy this Urru inks page from Issue #1 of Spike: Shadow Puppets... and get ready for Smile Time!

Angel fans think of one thing when they hear "Smile Time," and it's not about how much they like children's TV programming. No, they think about the lil' Angel puppet, and that feeling is about to carry over to Spike when Spike: Shadow Puppets #2 hits shops in July, compliments of Brian Lynch and Franco Urru.

Oh dear! Puppet!Lorne, Puppet!Spike, and Puppet!FloatyFishThing are all so cute! It's also great to see Pyro-Girl from Asylum making a return. I could see her being Spike's new love interest.

Latest from JM News:

Michael Winnick, Director of "Shadow Puppets", has kindly sent an
update on the movie. Michael writes:

The film is closing the 25th Annual Brussels Festival of Fantastic Film
(BIFFF) on April 16th!

And thanks to all of the fan support, in early summer, there will be
some limited theatrical screenings. I don't know all the details yet,
but the film will definitely play in Los Angeles. And at the end of the
summer, there will be a large DVD release. Hope all is well and thank
you again for all of your support!

Sincerely,
Michael Winnick

Angel once put a stop to an evil children's show, but not before being turned into a puppet during his fight. Now, fresh out of the Asylum, it's Spike's turn! Writer Brian Lynch and artist Franco Urru (Spike: Asylum) reunite for a miniseries that sees Spike and Lorne heading off to Japan to stop the latest Japanese kids' show—Smile Time! Will they become "puppetized" themselves? And along the way, find themselves in a fight with hundreds of ninja-puppets, reuniting with fellow Asylum inmates, and be at extreme odds with one other? We're not telling (but, um, yes)! Fellow Angel-ofile David Messina (Angel: Auld Lang Syne) provides a cover of puppety variance, too!
Check out http://www.idwpublishing.com/news/dujour.shtml for the cover image!

All I can say is... Spike + Lorne + My Lurve of Japan + Ninja Puppets with Wooden Chopsticks for Stakes = Hilarity. I'll even let the inaccurate Kanji slide. ^_~

Shorelight Entertainment's website says that Shadow Puppets is scheduled for release this month. Does anyone know if its direct to DVD or are some theatres going to be showing it? Amazon.com is letting people preorder it. Anyone? A little help here?
