Started work on my new portfolio site. It's been about a year and a half since I redesigned it, and I think maybe a new look to the site as well as a coordinated new design for my resume might help with the job search... Of course, I could be totally wrong, and it will help nothing, but I've gotta give it a shot.

The template for the site is finished. I just have to break the design up, code it, build and ActionScript the Flash elements, and then upload (while simultaneously saving the older version just in case of any hiccups). I think I might start a Twitter specifically for my design stuff and enhance my older design blog for it too.

Sadly, I have to make a new tag for the "Great Job Hunt of 2011" to go with 2009 and 2010. :( I just never imagined I'd go unemployed this long, but maybe redesigning some old work examples and redesigning the site will help. I'm going for simplification. Simple and elegant... and lavendar. Lots of lavendar.

*sniffle* They grow up so fast. One day they're running around in exercise slippers and making out with other boys to start fights, and the next they're rocking hot jeans and making out with other boys for act0ry moneys. Makes you so proud! :D

Enough Snagglepuss (one day I will have a tattoo of that gay lion on my foot)! I have a business query-like hypothetical to the fine folks on my f-list!

1. If there was a magazine for purchase online, would you like to have a high resolution digital copy of that magazine email to you or a printed copy sent by the mail, having in mind that the physical copy would be more expensive due to printing costs? Would you like for both options to be available?

2. a. How much would you be willing to pay per issue of a digital copy of a magazine? Would $5 be too much?
b. How much for the printed copy (including shipping costs)?

3. Is Paypal the generally accepted online method of payment now?

A few of you may remember that a little while back I won the WriterCon 2009 T-shirt design contest. Now, the T-shirts are available for order! Also, there are tote bags, water bottles, and stickers available as well! All proceeds generated from sales will go to support Writercon, a non-profit organization dedicated to the education, entertainment, and support of fans.
