Title: Jet Bunnies
Artist: [livejournal.com profile] fenderlove
Medium: Drawing and colouring in Photoshop CS3.
Rating: Totally Worksafe.
Summary: This was for my second set of nekid numbers for April at [livejournal.com profile] nekid_spike. My prompts were Fred, bunnies, and in a bar. I got inspired by the Playboy flight attendants of the 70s, so here's Spike and Fred as "jet bunnies" (with Feigenbaum bunny) in the lounge/entertainment area of Big Bunny (the Hugh Hefner equivalent of Air Force One... heh, think of it as Air Force Bun' :D ). I got kinda bogged down this month, so I wasn't able to finish the colour, Fred's hands are bothering me, and the background is like non-existent, but I hope you enjoy it none-the-less.

This is my poster design for the Shannon Street Blues and Heritage Festival commemorative poster competition. I hope I win! :D My mom actually likes this poster (SHOCK!), but she's worried that the judges won't "get" it. XD

fenderlove: James Marsters with Romeo and Juliet quote over it. (Default)
( Mar. 14th, 2009 10:59 pm)
I warned you that the Watchmen has rekindled my muse. So, here you go, James Marsters as the masked vigilante Rorschach, aka Walter Joseph Kovacs. It was interesting to concentrate on the shape of JM's face behind the mask.

Title: Chocolate Kiss.
Artist: [livejournal.com profile] fenderlove
Medium: Digital painting done in Photoshop CS3.
Rating: PG? I'm not sure if this is worksafe, but there's nothing all that naughty about it.
Summary: For my Nekid Valentine couple on [livejournal.com profile] nekid_spike, I picked Spike and Connor. I didn't have a lot of time to work on this one, so I didn't colour all of it. I'm not happy with how Spike turned out. I've drawn him in several profile views before, but I just couldn't get this one. ): Sigh. I do like how Connor's tongue turned out though. LOL.

Well, my shopping is done, the groceries are ready to be delicious treats, I've got my community posting day stuff ready, and I'm exhausted as I'm sure many of you are. I wish you and yours a fantastic holiday season and a wonderful New Year. *hugs*

And here to also send you well-wishes are Baby James and Baby Gareth... who've already been visited by Santa Steve. Enjoy! I'll be back on the 25th for [livejournal.com profile] seasonal_sd and on the 26th for [livejournal.com profile] noel_of_spike.

Title: Spike Meets an Art Enthusiast.
Rating: Not Worksafe (nudity, no danglies).
Medium: Digital painting done in Photoshop CS3.
Summary: Spike travels to the Victoria and Albert Museum where he meets an art enthusiast who wishes for him to imitate the pose from Boucher's portrait of Louise O' Murphy (which is not in the Victoria and Albert Museum, but who cares about silly reality?). I included myself in this piece as well; a self-portrait styled after Vigee Le Brun's portrait of Adelaide Labille-Guiard.

I'm in Digital Illustration class right now, and I'm bored so I thought I would post what I am working on right now. It's an exercise in how to use the gradient mesh tool in Adobe Illstrator. I think it kinda looks like paint. Here's my vector!pear.

I gave blood today! Yay!
I submitted this to [livejournal.com profile] darker_spike's Spike in Art challenge. Here's my slight interpretation of Spike as done by Alphonse Mucha... if Mucha had access to Adobe Illustrator CS. I'm just kinding posting this for fun.
