Doing Battle...

I just got my letter from MTSU saying that I will be living in the oh-so-nice oh-so-expensive Scarlett Commons next year. I'll be living in an apartment with three other girls (I don't know who they are), but at least there are two bathrooms to be shared between four people instead of those diplorable communal bathrooms. Anyways, my rent will be $100 more per semester than last year. Oh yeah, and tuition is going up AGAIN as well. And my financial aid? Well, they gave me a new grant, but in turn took away a good chunk of my Stafford loan money (I should get $2500 per semester, but they're only letting me get $750 per semester). So to sum up: Tuition going up + $100 more in rent + having $200 in financial aid than I did last year = Angry Angry Fender! They refuse to take into account that my art supplies are insanely expensive, and I'm going to be taking 21 hours this coming semester which means even more books and supplies than last year. GAH! Oh, and sorority dues are going up $5 per month. I think I shall go and hang my head and simply die. >_< Not really, but having to do battle with the finanical aid department makes me ill.

I have to take my driver's license test tomorrow. I want to cry. ;_;

i lived there for two years an i loved it!!! on my last year, two of the girls moved out, and one lived with her secret boyfriend, so i had the place all to myself. it was amazing and you get away with so much. i had six rats there. oh scarlett commons, i miss you.

Didn't you hear about the Congress bill that passed a week or so ago? It cut funding for federal college loans. I can't remember the details, though.

I dread seeing how much I won't be getting, if they cut mine, too.
