With the news about the new Spike comic "Asylum" and the Spike/Wesley one-shot, I decided to look up on IDW's website to see what else is coming up with the franchise.

Spike TPB (W: Peter David, Scott Tipton; A: Fernando Goni) -- July 2006
[This is not "Asylum," which is scheduled to come out in September. Any info as to the title of this comic?]

Angel Spotlight: Connor (W: Peter David; A: Nicola Scott) -- Aug. 2006

Spike vs. Dracula TPB (W: Peter David; A: Joe Corroney) -- Sept. 2006
[This is not the mini-series for S x D, but most likely the graphic novel with all 5 comics combined together.]

Angel Spotlight TPB -- Nov. 2006
[This is not Illyria, Gunn, Wesley, Doyle, or Connor's spotlight. Could it be a Fred or Cordelia spotlight?]

Angel-Spike Team-Up Miniseries -- Fall 2006
[Holy Homoerotic Vampires, Batman! Slash fangirls everywhere can commence the drooling.]

Looks like we've got some stuff to look forward too. Let us just hope that the art gets better beyond the covers. ^_^

trade paperbacks usually come out a few months aftre the original seris ran... hat first ne is probably last year's spike seies

There was no series last year though, just one or two one-shot trade paperbacks. IDW has a habit of putting out the paperbacks then compiling them into one graphic novel. It's weird. *glomps* Are you on break yet? *lub*

Ignore the Savvy. The Savvy has been incoherent all day and for some reason forgot all she knew about the comic book industry. My brain hurts... I've watched far too much Sci-Fi channel today. *dies*

Okay, I think I figured out what I was trying to say. Here we go again. Hehe. XD
IDW's only Spike series is Spike VS Dracula, but they already have the SxD TPB on the list. IDW didn't have another Spike series last year, but they did put out two TPBs, so I guess I meant that this has to be a whole new TPB. At least, that's what I think I meant to say. *dies again* Hehe. ^_^
