Okay, she was on the phone all last night, this morning, and this night. I swear to God, she has called every person she knows to complain about me. To top it off, she posted a threatening note in the hallway, basically calling me a racist and that she is going to beat the shit out of me. It's only courtesty that stopped me from phoning the police right then. This note finally caused the Floor Manager to take action, because it apparently was the final step too far. I went and had a sit down conversation with the FM about the situation and told her that I do not feel safe here. I've heard my neighbor on the phone all day telling people how she's going to "get" me. I do not like this at all. My FM told me that safety is very important here, but she is actually afraid of this girl as well, which is why she has not acted accordingly in the past. She has contacted the Building Manager who will be stopping by tomorrow to speak to this girl. I wish they would make her move. I can hear her coughing next door; I think she's ranted herself horse. The Building Manager called her a little while ago to set up the appointment, and now she's crying that everyone is out to get her. I'm the one who's having to sit in here like a person with paranoid delusions hearing things throught the walls. These walls must be made of paper. :P

this girl is obviously a head case. what do you think the BM will say to her? i hope she has to move as well. do you think she will she try to interfer with me visiting or anything? to tell you the truth the girl seems all talk. i have been around enough of them to know. is she a big girl?

She is all talk. Definitely. She's a little shorter than me and about as wide. I don't think she'll try to interfere with you visiting, but she's just a pest.

i kinda want to see a copy of the note and see how bad it is. she is in college and has bad grammar.

*sigh* unfortunately, I don't think you can live near this girl comfortably, Fender. There are just people that you can't get along with. She sounds bizarro.

Indeed. Thanks for the sympathy. I do appreciate it. I think that they may move this girl somewhere else. I believe she has angry management issues. She ranted on the phone for three hours one night that she hadn't "cried in ten years" even when her grandmother died. The way she said this frightened me. As if she was very proud that she no longer had any emotions besides anger. A fascinating and horrid subject indeed.

Hello?!

I have added you to my friend's list, I hope you don't mind.
Will wait a couple of days to see if you add me back... I tend to be very boring though. :(

Re: Hello?!

I added you to my friend's list as well. I also tend to be very boring unless I'm ranting about something or someone. Heh. Case in point: this post about my neighbor. Feel free to check my memories for my icon posts. I have posted several Sid and Nancy ones, plus ones of just Sid and the Sex Pistols. ^_~

Re: Hello?!

Thank you for adding me to your friend's list as well. :)
I will take a look at the Sid & Nancy icons as I'm always looking for new ones!

If you haven't already done so, make several copies of the girl's threatening note. You'll need a copy to give to the police, if your building manager fails to move the girl out. If your floor manager has the original note, have her make several copies for you, or better yet, make a copy for her and keep the original.

The reason for all these copies is that you need documentation; otherwise it's just going to be "he said/she said" with no proof of anything.

And I would talk to the police anyway, whether or not the building manager takes action, just to ask the police for their advice and to make them aware of the situation. I'd show them a copy of the note, too. You don't have to be pressing charges in order to ask them what they advise you to do. Even if this girl is all talk and no action, it's against the law for her to intimidate people with threats, and she's got to be taught that she can't get away with it, and that the police are NOT going to be amused.

Get 'em, fender!

I made a photo of the note on a friend's cellphone and took it to security today. They were not thrilled to say the least. They advised me to speak to the Building Manager today after her meeting with my neighbor. If the issue is not resolved by tonight then first thing tomorrow, I'm calling the police. I refuse to live in fear because of some wonky bitca with poor grammar and a chip on her shoulder.

Well, at least you have physical proof you aren't just paranoid if you have a crazy note and an FM who's afraid to approach the girl.

Angry management. Heh.
