Another Christmas Tree...

Mom felt bad that I didn't have an actual Christmas tree after she saw my homemade one, so she bought me a new one... A sparkly pink one... with iridescent pearls... and a fuzzy pink tree skirt... and pastry ornaments... Oh, it's a pink nightmare. XD

Oh, I love it. It's what I would have picked out for myself if I had the money; it just reminds me of Ralphie's bunn costume from "A Christmas Story." XD

Sweetie, 4 years ago, my son gave me a bobble-head Ralphie, holding his Red Ryder Range Rifle and standing on a bar of Lifeboy soap. It stands on my bookcase, and I love it dearly. The best gifts are conceived in the minds of those who love us and know us best. Not that I adore Harmony, but maybe a little pink unicorn on top. :-)

Seriously, it's a cutie. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN UGLY CHRISTMAS TREE, DAMMIT! They're all beautiful, and any tackiness just adds to their appeal. It was really sweet of your mom to get it for you! :D

Haha! Christmas trees are magical in that way. I like my two trees. They are funky. XD I think I'm going to keep the little pastry ornaments on my shelf 'cause I don't have the heart to pack them away. XD
