Someone want to make me super super happy forever and ever and ever?! I desperately need the Victoria doll for the Japanese set of Corpse Bride Toys. I could actually afford this myself (it's $80), but I have no credit card to order it. For those of you who would like to see the Japanese Corpse Bride toys (these are the most accurate toys I've ever seen), here's the link:

I actually knew of the company that's making the dolls. I blame Kendall. It's all her fault. I own a mini-doll made by that company.

According to the site, the doll's being released in November. Use the phone number on the website (I've reprinted it here) to call them and ask if they'll accept money orders sent through the U.S. post office, and if they'll hold a doll for you until your money order payment arrives.

Some companies will; others will only take credit card numbers if the item isn't actually in their warehouses yet. (That's called "pre-ordering.") Once they've physically got the items and can mail them to customers, they'll start accepting cash/checks/money orders. But by then, your item may be sold out, so pre-order whenever you can. Many companies don't want to accept cash/check/m.o. unless they KNOW they've got something to mail you, because if it turns out that they don't receive the product in their warehouses, they'll have to mail everyone's money back to them. It's easier for them to take credit card numbers, because if they don't receive the product after all, they just let you know and don't charge your card.

Do you have a bank debit card? Some companies will let you use that in place of a credit card to place pre-orders. (I'd be glad to order the item for you, but I don't have a credit card and I haven't yet received my new debit card from the bank.)

Anyhow, call them and ask if they'll take checks or money orders for Victoria, and if they'll hold one for you that way. LOL, I know the trauma of trying to purchase a doll before it sells out!
