Here's the sitch:
Go to your calendar and find the first entry for each month in 2009. Post the first line/sentence of it in your journal, and that's your "Year in Review." (Commentary is bolded.)
January: 2009 will mark A:ts's tenth anniversary, so I decided to do a big ensemble illustration, featuring Angel, Darla, Connor, Spike, Dru, Wesley, Illyria, Fred, Gunn, Groo, Cordelia, Doyle, Lorne, Kate, and Nina.
February: If you could live one day in your life over and over, which day would it be? Saturday, Dragon*Con '08, baby. That still stands. :D
March: Dear Other People in My Small Tennessean Town, four inches of snow does not equal pile everyone into your station wagon and drive your entire family to Wal*Mart in the middle of the effing night to get milk and bread! After the rain tonight, I say the same thing!

sororitysarah for Christmas and forgot to post, featuring Captain Jack, Captain John, and Ianto enjoying some time under the mistletoe.
May: Paradise Perfect, a Spike and Drusilla ficlet. Written for seasonal_sd. Spike and Drusilla visit Kent to celebrate their one hundred and fifth anniversary. I miss Seasonal_SD very much. :(
June: Happy Birthday, deannab and tinka023! :D
July: Automated Utopia :: Chapter Seven. This fanfiction is set in a Victorian SteamPunk Alternate Universe in which inventions such as Charles Babbage's Difference Engine and the harnessing of steam-power have launched a technological revolution far earlier in history. I need to finish the sequel to A.U.
August: I just got confirmation about my ticket (and sororitysarah's reservations for JM's private party at Dragon*Con! I learned James can drink a huge stein of Guinness in like one gulp with no ill-effects, and he can look dead sexy while doing it. I appreciate a man with good taste. :D
September: Just got a quick question for all you medically-inclined people:
Is it a violation of medical ethics for a doctor, in his or her private residence, to perform a physical examination on a minor child even if one of the child's guardians is present? Ironically enough, this incident, which Ditzy Cow wanted to use to show her husband's neglect of their children, was used against HER to show her erratic pattern of behavior after she repeatedly rammed her car into her husband's truck while the children were in there with him, and she lost custody and wound up spending a few nights in jail. Sigh, craziness.
