I saw some of my f-listies doing this, so I thought I'd jump in:

BtVS/Angel: My first real TV fandom will always be near and dear to my heart. The final episode of Angel aired the night before I graduated from high school. I'll always remember that the week before graduation I was more nervous about what was going to happen in the finale than I was about standing up in front of the school and giving my Historian speech. Even as I sat in that stupid gym, waiting to give my speech and get my diploma, I was wondering what the hell happened after that cliffhanger. It would be a few years before I found out that hell literally happened. ^_~ Both shows being finished felt right, for me; it was like the characters had transitioned somewhere else just as I was transitioning to college life. Of course, I really glad to have IDW's comics to give me my Spike fix. Spike: Unlimited needs to come out now! XD

Metalocalypse: The best animated program on television. Period. Ever. Period again. The music is parody-esque while still being excellent. The voice talent is superb, and the writing is, well, brutal. :D

CSI: Las Vegas: The original will always be the best, but I'm beginning to truly miss Gil Grissom, one of my silver foxes. And it's starting to get ridiculous how many times I look up and yell "Cowboy Curtis!" at Laurence Fishburne when he's on screen, which is the reason it was probably a good idea for me to not go see The Matrix in the theatre. I also have this problem with Gary Sinise ("You ain't got no legs, Lieutenant Dan!").

House: Call it illogical, call it predictable, call it anything you wish, but I love this show. I wonder if I could add House to my plot bunny of doom?

Psych: Shaun and Gus are just so endearing, and I could listen to their banter all day long.

NCIS: WHHHHHHHHY????!!!!! I have no idea why I watch this show, but I can't stop myself! Once the marathon starts on USA every day, I feel compelled to watch. To quote Abby, "It's like pistachios. I mean, have you ever eaten just one pistachio?" I think it might be Gibbs because Mark Harmon is also one of my silver foxes, but the other characters are all so quirky and fun that I think that's why I stay with the show. Gibbs, Abby, Ducky, McGee, DiNozzo, Ziva, I love 'em all. And I still miss Kate. :(

Dexter: "Are there plastic sheets in your future?" That's all that needs to be said about that.

True Blood: God, I do love Southern gentleman vampires (and Lafayette). I was never able to get through any of the Sookie Stackhouse books, but for some reason I love the show. It's just weird, and it's given me tons of new jargon. "Fangbanger" is currently my favourite.

Honourable mentions: The Venture Brothers, Burn Notice, Medium, CSI: Miami (for the irony and the Horatio Caine drinking game), Criminal Minds (when Mandy Patakin was on the show), Torchwood, and all of my real life crime shows including Forensic Files, American Justice, City Confidential, Cold Case Files (on A&E), MSNBC Investigates, Power Privilege & Justice, Murder by the Book, 48 Hours Mysteries, and Dark Heart/Iron Hand.

Wow. Medical, forensics, crime, detective, and horror genres. No wonder I'm warped. XD *runs off to rebury the reanimated plot bunny from beyond the grave* Begone, foul spectre of contrived plot devices! Back from whence you came!
