Saw the Grindhouse tonight! It was awesome!

This is was the most enjoyable theatre experience I've ever had! EVER! I laughed 'til I cried, I was on the edge of my seat. It was incrediable! Such a roller coaster!
The whole "Grindhouse" ambiance of the film, including its trailers and warnings were fabulous. Five stars all the way. Go see this film! It may be three hours long, but it was totally worth it. I paid $6.25 to see two movies at a real theatre! You can't beat those prices!
Planet Terror:
Wonderful, wonderful viral thriller. It was hilarious and terrifying. Rose McGowan was awesome as Cherry Darling, endearing and funny. One legged strippers are very funny. The visuals were stunning, and the effects were great. Bruce Willis is pretty creepy too. I loved the "missing reel" parts. Great! The score by Robert Roderiguez is perfect as well.
Deathproof: Ab-so-fucking-lutely brilliant! Kurt Russel is scary as hell as well as totally entertaining. Rosario Dawson, Zoe Bell, etc were also fabulous in their roles. Tarantino really outdid himself this time, creating three entirely lovable and badass heroines. For the last half of the movie, I was literally on the edge of my seat! Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant cinematography and writing.
The Previews: Before each movie, there are previews of fictional B-movies. They are the most hilarious things I've ever seen. There was Machete (a hitman type film starring Danny Trejo and Cheech Marin), Werewolf Women of the SS (a WWII creature feature filled with scantily clad female werewolf SS officers starring Sheri Moon Zombie, Nicholas Cage, and Bill Mosely and written by Rob Zombie), "DON'T!" (a haunted house flick by Eric Wright), and Thanksgiving (a slasher Halloween parody by Eli Roth). I laughed so hard that I was crying. The sad thing is, I really want to see all these movies made, especially Machete and Werewolf Women of the SS!
