The bands and artists who get inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame have to fucking pay to go to their own induction?! What the fuck is that?! You're supposed to be honouring them for their contributions to the industry and years of hard work! You couldn't at least give them a table for free? I mean, my God, $25,000 just for a fucking table?! And worse, if you want to just sit in the gallery not at a table in the front, you have to pay $15,000. $15,000 to listen to a bunch of modern bands murdered your songs on stage. That's fucking great. If you are wondering what brought this on, I shall tell you: The Sex Pistols are going to be inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in March. They declined to attend due to the high price of actually going and the fact that it would be too expensive to take their kids and family along with them. Johnny's right! This is a "piss stain." I never knew that you had to pay to go to an event honouring you. That sounds riculous. Don't give me that Hollywood bullshit of "it costs a lot to put on an event like this." Charge the common rabble more to get in, don't charge the honourees. I was really excited about seeing the Sex Pistols all together again, but thanks to music industry bloody bullshit I guess I'll never get to see them together before one of them kicks it. Thanks so much for your bollocks, RnR Hall of Fame. Some people have said that the Pistols are trying to outrageous by "spitting" on the invitation. It's not a real invitation when you make someone fucking pay, morons (unless it's a charity ball)! You don't give someone an invite to your birthday party and say, "You have to pay $25 to sit at a table, but only $15 if you want to sit on the floor." That shit stinks. The Pistols aren't being outrageous; they're exposing the truth of it, as always. *hearts to John, Glen, Steve, and Paul* I'm actually glad Sid isn't alive to see this. I wonder who's going to do the infamous "tribute" to the Pistols. Probably Good Charlotte or some nonsense. Sid's probably rolling over in his grave... if he had one.
