It's an Egg-Miracle!

Today, mom decided to clean off the wreath from where the nest had been, and low and behold! There was another tiny egg caught in the ribbons! We used a clean napkin to move the egg back into the nest and then put the nest back in the wreath for lack of a better place to put it. The mother robin has been back to the nest when it was on the ground multiple times this morning, so I hope she comes back tomorrow and sees that the nest has been righted and there's still an egg left!

*tears up a little* I don't know if my heart can take much more!

You know, that sounds like a little miracle. Hopefully, momma robin will find the other egg. Please let us know what happens.

The mother robin did come back, and she's been sitting on the nest. Also, the papa robin made an appearance, taking a turn on the nest as well! I'm praying that the weather will hold out long enough for the egg to hatch and the little bird to fly out on its own.
