I have some words that I'm confused about their usage, and I was hoping that someone could help me?

Is a newsagent a convenience store? And is it pronounced newsagent or newsagents?

Also, what is a newsreader? Is it like a television news anchor person?

In Britain, is a flapjack the same as a pancake or are they considered different?

Are Jaffa Cakes delicious? :D

All we seem to have here are Pimms (the orange and raspberry kinds, the pear kind is elusive and I want it) and those Ecolier shortbreads. I hope maybe World Market will one day get some Jaffa Cakes since they have all the other delicious kinds of European-y goodness. We can't even get cakes that are made in other parts of the U.S. here. All we have here are "Little Debbie" kinds, but I prefer the "Tasty Kakes" variety which are sold almost exclusively in the northern states (though randomly and occasionally you can find them in stores here in the southern states).

I miss TastyKakes so much. They're ubiquitous in Philly, and nonexistant here.

They're selling them in some Wal-Marts now, but not the tastiest lemon/orange ones though. Our local Wally World gets a random batch or two every six months and they sell out really quick. :(

My favs are jelly krimpets & butterscotch krimpets. They never are here :(

Haha! One of my friends is originally from Philly, and she and her family would go back up there to visit and she would bring us back lots and lots of boxes. XD

Whenever I go there, I come home w/ TastyKakes and a bag of soft pretzels ;)
