I'm beginning to think that my inner ear infection doesn't have anything to do with my ear. I realized that my jaw nearest my ear is tender to the point where it is physically painful for my hair to be near it. I think that, if I do have an infection, it started in my jaw and worked its way to my ear. This morning I woke up and my neck, jaw, and ear are swollen and hot to the touch.

I had some dizziness this morning, but that's tapered off now, thank God. I've tried a bunch of remedies that people have suggested, but nothing seems to be helping. I took some antihistamines because I thought maybe all the rain and pollen has done something to my sinuses, but I don't think that's really helped. I hope this doesn't end in a trip to the ER.

Thats sounds nasty love. You really should go and see a Doctor If I were you. If an infection spreads into the jawline it can be very nasty If left. *hugs*

I wanted to go to the doctor yesterday, but no insurance, no money, and no access to public transportation kinda prevented it. I might have to go to the ER and then default the bill since I don't have any income. I hate to default on a bill, but I may have to.

Could be a tooth

Painnkillers. anti inflamatories , heat and an anti bacterial mouthwash might help till you can get it seen to.

Could definitely be. I hope I don't need some kind of root canal or something. O_O I'm gonna look like James when his caps fall out of place. XD

I know you're in a sucky healthcare situation but, please get it seen to before everything gets really bad in a really lasting way.

I'm very concerned at the moment. I thought about going to the "free" clinic because they'll set up a payment plan, but if this is a dental problem... *hides under a rock*

Better to have it looked at than not, because it could be very serious if you're getting dizzy.

Yeah, that was kind of scary. Last time I got dizzy like that, I hit my head on the headboard of my bed, which was very bad. O_o;;;

It'll be cheaper to take care of it now than later if it becomes a big deal. You probably need antibiotics.

I decided to try to go to the walk-in clinic if I can get a ride since Mom is still in the "Nothing is wrong with you" phase of denial.

*worries*

I'm still looking for a ride to the walk-in clinic. No one in my family is available until next week due to my grandmother having surgery tomorrow.

Poor thing! The walk in or free clinic might have information on charity dental clinics in case it's a wisdom tooth or somesuch. Sorry you're hurting, sweetie. *hugs*
