Robot Chicken released this skit before Season 8 started, but given what we've seen thus far, it actually would have been more palatable than what's been released. It's worth a watch. XD

Joss Whedon has also appeared in several Robot Chicken skits in which he mocks himself quite a bit, which would be redeeming, but he's still an arrogant asshat who just happens to recognize that he's an arrogant asshat.

Joss Whedon: *in his Transylvanian mansion* So you've come crawling back to the mighty Whedonverse? BWUHAHAHAHAAA!
Seth Green: Oh, geez, you actually call it "the Whedonverse?"
