Major project was due today (the printing of some brochures that have to be on a truck headed for a trade show in the morning). I begged and pleaded with my bosses to fix the printer last week so that I could start printing them (the brochures have been done for almost a month). Finally today, the day before they need to be on a truck, they get the dude in to fix it. When he fixes it no problem, everything is fine, well, and good, until they decide that the printer needs to be in my office upstairs instead of downstairs. So even though my boss told the IT people not to move the printer, they had the shop guys attempt to move it anyway. What happens? $2000 enormous Kyocera colour printer goes tumbling down the stairs, tearing up the walls all the way down! Now the printer is completely fucked up, so we're going to have to pay all the money to get it fixed plus we have to go on another Kinko's run to get the brochures done by in the morning. Thousands of dollars down the drain! I got screamed at because the printer was being moved, even though I told them NOT to move it.
And to top it off? An ad that was due today that I sent for approval last week still hasn't been approved. I get an e-mail basically stated that even though I did exactly what they wanted, they want something totally different now! The day it is due! Son of a whore! I'm tired of getting screamed at when other people are the ones making outrageous and brash decisions! ARGH!
