Okay, I'm going to kick James's skinny non-existant arse. He cannot make me sit through DRAGONBALL THE MOVIE! Of all the animes that could have been made into a live action movie! Why couldn't he have picked the Evangelion movie or even Sailor Moon!

I can't sit through a movie that will be an hour and a half of grunting and throbbing forehead veins and then a To Be Continued sign at the end. Also there's no way I would sit in a theatre filled with DBZ fanboys. Never. I can't do it, not even for James.

Oh God, I just vomited in my mouth.

Aw, not the jamesy pre-birthday present you were wanting then. :D Have to admit I know nothing about Dragonball or anime so it means zilch to me - other than it's a BIG MOVIE and James is THE VILLAIN.

I shall rely on you and Bendy to edumacate me nearer the time. :)

I know it's quite silly to be depressed over this, but I kinda am. I view DB and DBZ as the worst animes of all time. I didn't enjoy the other movies that the director has done, and I'm just "eh" about the whole thing. I keep thinking perhaps I would feel different if it were another character from the series, but honestly I can't stop the massive dislike of this show and the manga it came from. It's not that I don't think James can do a lot with it or be truly successful in this role, but the show was so terribly bad I don't see how a movie will make it good except to change the entire concept/plot/characters all together... which would massively piss off the fanboys who would be the primarily audience for the film, I would believe.
