Rantings for HP Book 7 *Spoilers Up to Chapter 19*

I'm not done reading, but I need to vent before I go esplodey. Also, please don't post spoilers for anything past chapter 19 in the comments, please. I'm spoiler-free for the book.


Three kills in under 100 pages. That's a feat... but not effete.

Action sequences make my brain hurt.

My love for Fred and George knows no bounds. I heart them. Though I secretly love Fred just a little more... Sssh, don't tell George. Oh well, it's not like he can hear very well out the left side anyway! XD

Am I the only one who thinks that a whole page of dialogue that's basically "Umm... yeah," "Okay," and "Er.. thanks" is a little much. Sounds like an Li'l John song. "YEAAAH! OKAAAAY!"

Anyone else think that the kids don't get that the reason Remus thinks it was a mistake marrying Tonks was really because he was still in love with Sirius and now has made the biggest mistake ever by marrying Tonks and knocking her up out of self-pity and loneliness and grief? I want to believe that it is.

I like Kreacher. He makes me happy. I kept expecting him to bring Harry a cake that read "PLZ DIE!!1!"

Umbridge... is a sicko... and I mean that in the best possible way. She's such a dominatrix that it killz 4realz.

I'm so tired of this "Is Dumbledore evil, good, or shade of grey?!" BS. It reminds me of Season Seven of BTVS and Season Five of ATS. I don't care! Give me some damn answers! Where's more Lucius?! I want to read more about his pimp cane! >_<

Hermione needs to stop crying. Seriously. There's no crying in Horcrux-hunting!

Ron is being a douchebag, though I can't blame him.

I'm in chapter nineteen, passed the half-way mark, and no questions have been answered. Why aren't my questions answered.

I swear to God, if Snape is made out to be the stereotypical bad guy, I will be so severely pissed off. I did not defend this series for all these years only to have a piece of shite cranked out for the last book.

Dear Harry,
Shut the hell up. Shut the goddamn hell up. I've put up with your whiny bullshit for so long that I very much wish you dead. Since book two, I've been reading these books for the other characters. Reminds me of watching Buffy all over again! Why must I always wish the main character dead?! Oh yeah, because s/he is whiny self-absorbed bastard!
Seriously, are you gonna believe Skeeter's book over common sense? I mean, how dumb is you? Also, if you're just now ranting over Dumbledore not telling you anything, you're an idiot. He's never told you anything. Ever. Accept it and move on. Moreso, if you believe any one human being is 100% pure and innocent, you're even more of an idiot.

i'm on chapter 19 right now. i loved the beginning. it was great. then all of a sudden it was like OMG! J.K became a broken record. i was like push the story along! i'm sure she was under alot of pressure writing it though. it has picked up now that Ron is back. It feels like there was some editing that needed to be done. would have read more but by the time i got back the the place we were renting i would be tired from sight seeing.

i saw the french quarter in New Orleans. it actually wasn't that great. it was like beal street with skanky strip joints. i also didn't get to see the freaking cemetaries which was my main reason for going. i'll tell you all about it. if you want me to come over tommorrow give me a call.

i bought the cutest little hedwig beany baby at a borders store.
