A slim ray of hope...

Wachovia sent me an email about sending them confirmation about my income and the income of my co-borrower, and they asked me to sign the promissory note. That means that's there's a slight hope that I'm going to get this loan. I'm still trying not to get my hopes up, but I faxed them the verifications and mailed out the promissory note. Pray for me, guys. I'm hoping to get this all worked out.

Sending you good vibes. It's really unfair that people are held back from what they want to accomplish over a silly thing like money!

You know, it would never work in North America, but the Scandanavian way of running a country is so much better. Everyone pays the same percentage of tax and there's also a floor and a ceiling for how much they earn and get taxed, essentially creating a country of middle class. No one gets too rich and no one gets too poor. The benefit is that all social programs, health care and higher education are free to the population!

Yay for Socialism! Hehe. Just kidding. I agree that social programs should be free; but you're right, it would never work in the North America.
