I can't believe it's just Tuesday. The days just drag on. I haven't eaten or slept since my last post... I just can't. Tara bought me ice cream the other day and I ate it, for her sake, and it made me terribly sick. I'm weak and miserable and my period's gone all wonky.
I probably won't get that CitiBank loan I was hoping for, and the college staff really aren't that helpful nor caring. I've got to call my local bank in a few minutes (once I build up the courage and find the heating pad) to try and speak to them about the loan. I don't think that student loans should have a cosigner because things change so much in two or four years. I sincerely hope I don't need a cosigner, but if I do, thank God for my maternal cousins Amber and Candi, plus Candi's husband Michael-floyd.
My dad's side of the family is utterly useless. My dad's family believes that daughters are worthless, and only sons will do. The funny thing is most of the men on that side had daughters. Some of them are even willing to claim boys born in relationships in which science has proven them not to the fathers, just so they can have a son. My female paternal cousins were all cast aside, practically given up to other relatives. Of course, I think God did it on purpose; he made all the men on my dad's side of the family for the last two generations sire girls instead of boys. It's God's way of ending the family line, thank goodness. It needs to be ended; the whole lot of them are nothing but white trash anyway.

Have you applied for FAFSA yet? http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

You should always be able to get a Stafford loan as long as you aren't in default on any previous student loans (but this is your first, so no worries there). No co-signer nor credit is required.

Your college should (*should*) have a financial aid section on their website that gives you instructions on how to get financial aid and Stafford loans.

If your Citibank loan is a Stafford loan, you should definitely get it.

Too bad your dad's side of the family sucks so much. What rock did they crawl out from under?

I have my Fafsa and a Stafford loan and a Perkins loans and an SEOG grant and work study and $20,000 dollars a year from the school. Still doesn't cover the cost of a $42,000 a year school.

Well, it's not Yale, but it is Ivy League. It's Bard College in Annandale-on-the-Hudson, NY.
Thanks for the well-wishes, but I didn't get any more loans, so I'm sunk.
