According to CNN, J.K. said that two (2!!!1) characters will die. And something about Hermione's wand! OMG!!!!1!

Is it cruel that I want it to be Harry and Ron? Not in a slashy way, but just in a general "I hate you both and Snape and Draco rock my socks" way. I kinda hope that, if Snape dies, he dies saving Harry's worthless arse so that he can prove the brat wrong.

Plus the significant people who get killed in these kind of books are typically the ones you (or the main character) either love or at least appreciate/understand. It's definately going to be one of Harry's close friends.

I would guess Ron as well except for Jo saying she wouldn't kill Ron, so I guess it's Hermione. Of course, I don't trust the writer to keep her word to something she said two years ago, so it could very well be Ron. I kinda hope it is.
