I finally figured out how to make a custom LJ layout on a free account (I seemed to always overlook the Custom CSS fuction on the toolbar). Whoot for me.
Now, I have the Clerks: the Animated Series layout I always wanted! Yay!

No, I won't be taking that class yet. I was going to take it, but Barry's "Word and Image" was at the same time. Sadness and woe.
I need the art lab open now. I have withdrawl from my beloved InDesign.
