On Friday, Tara, Laura, and I went to Jackson. We spent like thirty minutes in Books-a-million and found a love letter someone had stuffed into a copy of Joss Whedon's Fray graphic novel. I think Laura is going to send it back to whoever it belongs to. Then, we went to Best Buy and I found the frickin' Dresden Dolls CD. I love them! They're like cabaret punk. I listen to them all the time on the comp, but I never had a credit card to buy their album from their site. I was so excited that the CD had actually been released by a label.
After the shopping, we headed to the Old Towne Spaghetti Store for lunch/dinner (supper?). Our waitress was nice, but the food left something to be desired. After our meal, we headed home, stopping at the ye ole Mega Mart for some sweet Jones Soda, freshly imported from the fabled Canadas. Fun was had by all.
It's official! My move is only a month away, and yesterday I actually started packing. Most of my stuff is going into storage, but I had to go through my clothes looking for stuff for all seasons. I have a box full of sweaters and warm clothes already packed since I have no need for them here in the sweltering TN heat. After packing, I went and got some yummy B.R. ice cream and all was well.
