A very teeny baby kitten has wondered/been dumped at our house. We found it last night when it stumbled up to our car from our backyard. It's the teeniest little thing. I want to keep it but it looks like it's either been hurt or has the mange (it's got these weird scabby things on the bridge of its wee kitty nose). We were scared that Foamy-the-squirrel-killin'-cat would eat it last night, but it was still alive and sleeping underneath our lawnmower this morning. We fed it chicken broth and a little bit of bread crumblings, which it ate quite well. Mother brought home some evaporated milk from my grandmother to feed it. Unfortunately, we can't keep it because of our lease agreement. Mom doesn't want it to starve but she doesn't want it to stay here either which means she wants me to dump the poor little thing off in a field somewhere which I absolutely won't do. The Humane Society here won't take it, so I don't know what to do! It's a really good little kitten. I'm calling it Charmoose.

Aww.... :( I would take her if I could. Poor little thing. I hope you can find a good home for her.

A friend of mine has agreed to keep her until we can find her a permanent home.

YEY! I'm happy to hear that. :)
Hope you can find her a great home. *hugs*

I dont think you'd be violating your lease agreement if you let the kitty live around the house and continued feeding it. What can you do about a cute widdle kitty living in the yard, right :D

There are some people who will come and pick the kitty up if no one else will take him in (or so I've heard). Ask the kids at [livejournal.com profile] stupidpetowners who you can talk to about finding kitty a home. They might be able to help!

Tara is going to take her/him.. possibly keep her/him. Poor little Charmoose.

Tara has too many cats already! But it sounds adorable. I'd take it, but I can't have big pets at my apartment. :(
