I think my laptop is dying. This morning I got up to play the Sims 2, but my game wouldn't run. It would start to load and then just stop! So I put in a CD because I thought it might have something to do with my CD tray being a bit wonky, and it played just fine. I freed up some space (7 gigs actually), thinking that might help, but no luck. I ran all my Spyware and Antivirus stuff and found two adware thingies. I got rid of them with little trouble, and everything came up clean after running my software virus checkers and stuff. My Sims game still won't play and my compy won't connect to the MTSU server. I think I might have to kill something. My game was working just fine last night, so I don't know why it won't run. I pulled up the little task manager box thingie and watched as the Sims2Nightlife.exe (or whatever its called) popped up and all the little numbers climbing and then just disappear from the task manager. I can't understand why it would do that. I've never had a computer do this before. It's just really frustrating to have to use these craptastic computers in the Lab because the keyboards are strange. Gah! Help? Anyone?
