From what I understand, they need thirty-one stories for this anthology (it's an advent calendar thingie, like a story-a-day for the month of December). I figure that, maybe, that gives me a fighting chance. Then again, mine will be one of the shorter ones (I barely got over the word count), and I have no idea if that's a good or bad thing.
I just keep trying because, one day, something has to give with this.
