I am fighting off sickness. I think I might have undercooked a casserole, and now I'm not feeling well. Blurgh... I've got to get up though and do the house-cleaning for today.
On a happier note, the mother robin did come back to her nest! She and, I assume, the papa robin have been taking turns sitting on the remaining egg. They peep and chirp all day long. The only problem is that I'm afraid to go into our front room because the birds see movement and fly off. Also, the summer storms are still going strong, and I worry about the wreath being tossed around and the egg falling out like the first one. I wonder how long it takes for robin eggs to hatch and grow into wee flying birds...
