Dreamwidth...

I'm importing all my old entries to my Dreamwidth account. Don't worry, Livejournal is still my home, but I just want to have a backup. For those of you who have imported your entries to Dreamwidth, how long did it take? It's been about ten minutes, and it's still doing the verification thing.

According to a recent post in DW_news, the import queue is so backed up from all the people trying to import that it will probably take at least a week to clear out the backlog.

You might be waiting a while. If the import fails, I suggest waiting a while - maybe a week or so.

Good to know! Just after I posted this, it started importing all my stuff. It's imported everything but my entries thus far, so I figured I'd be in for a long wait. XD

So far it's imported everything except my actual journal entries, so I'm hoping that everything will go through in a few hours. If it doesn't go through, I'll wait a while to try again. :D
