Thank you so much. I would like to think that Miss Quartremain carried on into grand old ladyhood with her enormous hellhound by her side. I have often wondered if perhaps Buffy wasn't the only Slayer to have mini-deaths with other Slayers getting called. The Council couldn't even realize that Buffy wasn't dead-dead in S1/S2 with the advent of phones and the internet (didn't even call Giles to find out how Buffy died for their records, just assumed that she was dead and Kendra was the new Chosen One), so I imagine it was that much harder pre-Industrial Revolution if something like that were to occur.
