I got that part with the cheating, but it just seemed like another "sigh, one characters thinks he's so good at something only to be shown that he's not" moments. There was enough of the one-up-manship in the first two issues, and it's just getting kind of old with the same types of jokes and sight-gags over and over. I'm just not finding the humor with this series. I find myself being more interested in the Duchess and her plans than any of the other characters.
