Well... I'm writing another paper. I only need my conclusion paper, but I'm really procastinating. In honor of my slothily ways, I thought I would bring you
Presenting Fender's top ten Spike hair styles!!! Wh00t! ^__^
10. the slightly mussed hospital hair from Damaged.
9. the Ken doll hair from DoubleMeat Palace (the only time that style looked decent. I think it was the shirt he was wearing).
8. the wavy slicked back look from Harsh Light of Day.
7. the two-toned Bed-Head of Insanity from Lessons.
6. the ponytail of Slayer-killage from the Boxer Rebellion scene in FFL. I want to run my fingers through it. Hair of a pony, indeed.
5. the mussed curlicue look from Bargaining Parts 1 and 2.
4. the fluffy William hair from FFL (not to be confused with the mop o' badness from LMPTM).
3. the Bed-Head of Redemption from Intervention
2. the yummy "I stole Leonardo DeCaprio's hairstyle" look from the mine scene in FFL
1. the peroxided punk look also from FFL. Mmm, he's like Billy Idol... only better.

And more randomness: The Hairstyles Fender Never Wants to See Again:
3. the spray painted black Nazi hair-helmet of badness from Why We Fight. It kinda looked cute in the black and white snippet from The Girl in Question, but I still don't like it.
2. the evil mop o' badnesss the evil-EVIL costuming people stuck on him in LMPTM. That thing is the DEVIL! I want to burn it. It made William look twice as old as he did in FFL. Bastard costume people.
1. the helmet! I can't stand Spike's "normal" hairstyle. I need some variation. I mean, it looks alright. James has the face to pull it off; but after many many seasons of it, I just can't stand it anymore. Plus, in Ats Season Five, the costume people taunted us in many ways. First, they never let him change his outfit. Not once! I mean, a hint of colour? Would it have killed them? They even made reference to it in The Girl in Question by having him get ten identical coats to his duster. We'll never be rid of that damned thing. It hides his body too much and makes him look stocky. Maybe I can hope some of that demon horde destroyed it in the Ats Finale, so we won't have to see it in the TV movie. Two, Spike fell out of a two story building, and his hair stayed perfectly in place! If only my hair could do that! They taunt us by making Spike's hair and clothes stagnant, so unlike the character. Damn them to hell!
Okay that's it. I'm done. Back to working on my paper.

ooooh. Favorite Spike hairstyles. I think my faves are Bedhead of REdemption, Lessons hair, and the long ponytail in FOOL FOR LOVE.

The worst by far was LMPTM William hair. WTF was that?

That was pretty much my reaction to the mop o' badness. I was like, "What did they do? Throw away the original hair piece?" I mean, FFL William hair was bad... in a cute way. It was all curly and adorable and foppish. The LMPTM wig was so bad; it made him look like Dr. Dopler from Treasure Planet. *sighs* I miss the FFL ponytail; it barely got a chance to live! I mean, I didn't notice it until like the third time I watched FFL... I miss it... and punk!Spike.

Yes, a pox upon the evil costuming people who are responsible for the LMPTM mop o' badness! A pox, I say!
