The ficlet that lilithbint wrote is what directed me to this... I saw that what she wrote was placed before this story so I figured it couldn't hurt to read it and I thought it was really cool and I just HAD to read the whole real story.
I was just noting all the nominations and awards... they are well deserved. And I'll get to the ficlet for this as soon as I can... I'm reading the end now.
