fenderlove: James Marsters with Romeo and Juliet quote over it. (Default)

I'm going to kill something right now. I was denied an apartment by MTSU and am going to be forced to live in the same room with another digusting human being. I refuse. I can't go through this again with the psycho roommates! I'm going to have to put up layers upon layers of fabric between my side and who ever I'm forced to live with.
That's not even the worst part of today. My mother insisted on going with me to Customs where she first got us lost because she "knew" the correct way to go, and we wound up an hour and a half late for the registration. I never got my portfolio looked at, so my art creds from Bard won't transfer until I formally request an inquiry into my work with the graphic design faculty. None of my credits that I've earned from Bard or JSCC will go towards my degree requirements, so I'm literally a year behind schedule with 38 elective credits. All the other Art majors are "Compass" students, which means they made a 10 or lower on their ACTs. It took three hours to get registered for my classes because they had one advisor for nine people. At MTSU, you have to take four "core" classes (Drawing I and II, and 2-D Design, and 3-D Design) to take classes even slightly related to the Art major, so the advisor decided I should take three out of the four since my Drawing II credit from Bard will likely turn into a usable credit (as MTSU's Drawing I). So this semester I will be taking Survey of World Civilization I, Intermediate Japanese I, and Drawing II on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; and I will be taking 3-D Design and 2-D Design on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'm gonna have 15 credit hours per semester, instead of the 16 hour semesters at Bard, since MTSU uses 3 hour credits instead of four.
I have had a terrible, no good, very bad day indeed.
