Why does there have to be shipping?! Why can't the characters just be!? Just because you don't like Spider, suddenly you're a Spuffy! I didn't know those were rules! I would prefer any other of Lynch's OCs to be Spike's love interest- Anna, Beck, Tok... Hell, throw the boys in too- Biv, Marv, even Betta George! I would take Speorge at the moment over Spiker! God, this whole situation has me shipping Spike with a giant floating telepathic beta fishie. I fear I have lost my mind. I'm a Spangel and a Spred, dammit... and sometimes a Sprusilla if the mood does so strike me. But, you know, I'd much rather stick to my own original character, who loves and respects Spike for who he is. It may not be as omg!dramatic, but at least she hasn't stabbed him in the groin. And at this point, that's something very positive.
