... bad room-mate magnet. The R.A. is drunk with power! I don't have time to explain everything (I've gotta get ready for class and Seth would kill me for being late), but let's just say that the R.A. called my mom around 10PM and demanded my cellphone number. My mom, thinking something might be wrong, gave it to her. This was not an emergency situation (I missed the first floor meeting 'cause I slept through it which lots of people do); she misrepresented herself in calling like that as well as violated MTSU's privacy policies by trying to obtain said information. She duct-taped something to my door in a childish manner then lied about doing it, and she's generally gone mad because I'm "inconsiderate" for the simple fact that I didn't rush into the new other room-mates' rooms the second they moved in to try and "make friends" with them. I'm twenty-three fucking years old! I have my own friends, and I definitely don't have time for this bullshit! Apparently, having Sarah and Tara in my room makes me "anti-social." I'm not anti-social; I just don't like you, R.A. person, for you bullying and bad attitude. I swear to God I will not be pushed around by a Sophomore.
I do get a little revenge though 'cause my mother is so pissed off about being woken up and made to worry last night by the R.A. that she's reporting her to the Housing Department. XD

Two words: paper trail and photos.

She tapes crap to your door, you photograph it.

You have your mother call the Housing office and complain. Pissed off parents (that are perceived to be holding the checkbook) tends to make offices twitchy.

Dude, if she wants to hold hands and sing Kum Bi Yah, she should be an RA in a freshman dorm (so says Kelly, RA of the insufferable freshman Whore Floor in 92) she shouldn't be foist her bullshit on you.

Uncool.

Stabinates for you.

If I hadn't kicked the damn light fixture (which was what was taped to my door) across the floor when I opened the door, I would have taken a picture of it. I have to go speak with the head of the R.A.s tomorrow about the situation because mom called and apparently the person was really upset with what the R.A. did.

I hope so too. I'm so tired of dealing with this stuff.

OMG! Savvy you really do have the worst luck when it comes to housing. D: I hope your mnother gives them hell and it results in that stupid bitch getting fired or something equally awful happening. This seriously makes me mad.

Stay strong Savvy! Stay strong!

I have to go meet with the head of the R.A.s (who's an actual adult lol) today after my first class. It sucks, but I figure she'll know that I'm the one telling the truth (R.A. is a terrible liar- like every mean teenage girl stereotype with the smirking and the eye-rolling). I'm so sick of this.

Good luck Savvy! Hopefully that mean girl will get fired or lose her hair or something!
