My comic is kicking my ass. I've redrawn page four twice now, finally gotten it the way I wanted it, but the colours are turning out blargh. I think I'm going to move onto colouring page five, but it's just needling at me.
I've also got several art project to do, so I need to make another infamous list.
To-Do List:
* Finish pages four and five of comic by Sunday.
* Finish pages six, seven, and eight by next Friday.
* Finish new portfolio website.
* For July 6th: Digital Painting.
* For July 10th-13th: Art piece for [livejournal.com profile] nekid_spike's "Spike Goes to the Museum" prompt.
* For July 28th-31st: Art piece for [livejournal.com profile] nekid_spike's "purple" prompt.
* For July 31st: Art piece for [livejournal.com profile] darker_spike's 7 Deadly Sins challenge.
* For August 24th: Art exchange piece for the [livejournal.com profile] guns_n_poodles's Cap'n John Fic/Art-a-Thon.

This is a totally random comment on a totally random post!

But I saw your comment on my LJ a bit late, sorry, I've been busy/out of town. I just wanted to drop by and say that I haven't seen/heard from you in forever and that it's nice to hear from you! Thank you for the birthday tidings, I am certainly getting old.

Good luck on your to-do list, I won't ramble on and keep you any longer than I have already. Take care~

We all feel old sometimes. When I taught at the Governor's School to teens who were born in the 90s, that made me feel very old indeed. XD
It's so good to hear from you too. I wanted to let you know that I've had something of yours for a very long time and I tried taking it to your house a few times but no one was home. It's that Takei doll; I don't know if you remember. I've had it for over five years at least, and I've felt just awful about never being home long enough to return it. I can maybe bring it by sometime? I actually live across the road from you now, next door to Jamie's old house behind the high school's marching band field and parking lot.

Just keep it if you still like it, because I have no need/room for it anymore and I never minded anyway lol. And I had no idea you lived over there :V I'm still in the same house, atleast for another two months. I am very ready to get out of here - absolutely stir crazy. Passing the days doing art-for-hire, selling my earthly possessions and binge-watching buffy and doctor who due to my apathy of "there's nothing but flash made amerianime on tv these days" haha XD

do you want me to add you to my f-list? :V there's nothing really of content that I post friends locked, but well, you know :V

Sure, I'll add you to mine as well. I spend my days watching Buffy and Angel and drawing Spike. LOL. I'm going to Dragon*Con in August so I'm trying to get my Spike comic finished so I can give some friends copies. I'm about to wear out my stylus though; it and my tablet are looking a bit bedraggled.
Are you moving out for school or for better job opportunities or both? ^_^ I spend most of my days in Murfreesboro (I graduate from MTSU in December), but I'm home for the tragically short summer.

Going back to college and probably going to be living out there semi permanently. So it's also for job opportunities, there isn't much to do around here for someone who does not wish to paint barns for a living haha. And yeah, I like watching stuff while I'm working so they've been nice to have- only problem is that I'm lacking Angel so it's irritating with having the plot gaps here and there. I skipped going to any cons this year in favor of going to New York, I got to see Wicked finally and I'm still pretty high off of that. It was really amazing :D

Aaah I see, I knew you went to MTSU from Clint but I wasn't sure when you would graduate.

Lucky! Getting to see Wicked! I was living in NY my Freshman year, but I only got to go into NYC once or twice; I really wanted to see some shows. I've been looking for a summer job, but haven't had much luck. I thought I had a good chance at getting a graphic design job at a newspaper in Parsons, but they said I was over-qualified for the job. >_< I do a lot of book arts and doll customization lately, so I've been thinking about doing that for extra cash to fund my Dragon*Con habit ($25 for an autograph, $60 for photo-ops). I went last year, and it was insane. Maybe one year I'll do some cosplay.
I've only got Season Five of Angel on DVD. I've got a good site for downloading episodes though if you want it.
I can't wait to graduate and move away, but this semester is going to be very hectic because I have to plan my Senior Show and be president of my sorority. *gags and feels unclean* I should probably give the presidency to someone else 'cause I have no idea where I'm there, but it might look good on a resume. LOL.
