I've had so much college already this should be old hat to me. Grr.
Well, Japanese is a great class. I love it already.
Growing Up Victorian should be a depressing romp into a repressive society with its mini-adults that rival our Jon-Benet Ramseses of today, not to mention all the fun hours spent in coal mines. Yay. It's all about the morbidity and cruelty displayed within Victorian fairy tales, fantasy stories, fables, etc. told to Victorian children. Scary indeed.
The Seminar is going to be one boring piece of shite, I can tell. The professor is trying to convert us to her meditating-vegan-yoga-loving ways. I don't jive with that at all. She's forcing us to take at least two yoga classes this semester. I really really don't like public displays of exercise. It makes me really overly self-conscious about my body with its odd hourglassness (not the good kind of hourglass, a really dumpy hourglass that's bottom heavy).
My back is killing me for some reason. I want to get back to work on my fanfiction. It's important for me to finish it, plus I've got loyal fans waiting patiently for me to get my shit together and update my site. I want to, guys! I really do! I can't get to the chapters that I wrote before moving to NY because I don't have a floppy A drive on my laptop (the newest chapters are on a floppy disk). Curses! I'm going to have to jog down to the library in town and email them to myself. I just hope I can format it to be readable on my laptop. Damn you, Windows XP.
I'm debating whether I want to order in, go out, or cook. It's most likely I'll go out, but oh well. Also, I've only bought 7 books so far and already I've spent over a hundred dollars. Damn you, Barnes and Noble; you are the devil.
