fenderlove: James Marsters with Romeo and Juliet quote over it. (Default)

Those bastard kids stole our broom out of our outdoor utility closet last night. My mother found it this morning in another yard. I went out and got it, and guess what? Those bastards broke our broom. We've had that broom for twenty years! I know it's silly to get mad about an old broom, but if they were brave enough to come up into the carport near the front door to steal a broom, what's gonna stop them from taking the weed-eater or leaf-blower or the gas can next time? Fucking bastards.

This is when tattle-taling comes into play. I say you "inform" their parents that they are "braking into peoples homes" and "taking whatever they wish" to "play" with.
You don't have too. I would, only becuase I'm that evil. lol.

Oh, we would do that... except their parents don't care and neither do the police. We've had several "chats" with their parents which have all ended with them drunkenly yelling at us. I've called the police four times for someone to come out so I could make a report but no one ever shows up. One time, I called because the brats were lighting firecrackers in some dry brush in another neighbors yard _and_ that they were lighting them while pointing the fireworks at a three year old girl's face... and no police officer even bothered to show up. Bastards, I tell you. I can't wait until Friday when I move back to Murfreesboro for school.

I don't blaim you. You know, one day something is going to happen, either, god forebid, one of the kids is going to die, or their going to burn something down and everyones going to be wondering how it happened, and you'll be the only one going, "I've called the police numrious times, but they didn't care." Things like that happen all the time. I bet you any money though, that those kids walk around with all kinds of bruises as well. I've known kids like that growing up, and not one of them is out on the streets anymore. They're in "other" places.
I'm sorry you have to go through that. It just sounds like your neighborhood is going downhill.

*hugs you tight*

Well, the middle kid is already a pyro. He tried to set one of the trees in our front yard on fire, which actually did provoke a reaction from his mother when we confronted her. She seemed geniunely upset by it. The kids don't seem to have any discipline at all because the parents are never home, so the kids are left in the care of the oldest daughter (who's about 16 with a child of her own). I think that something will happen to these kids because of their own stupidity and lack of supervision. Our neighborhood is still one of the nicest in town, but the rest of the neighbors agree it would be a better place if these people just moved. *hugs*
