Today, Pottermore began sending out the official Welcome letters and allowing the first 2,500 early registrants into the site. I haven't gotten mine yet, but in anticipation I've started a journal where I am going to be posting walk-throughs and screencaptures of the process. It's a closed community journal, but feel free to watch it or post in the comments any questions you might have.

I'm picking up a some spoilers about what people are doing on there, but not much yet.

After trying for the past four days, I finally got an account on Pottermore during their pre-registration scavenger hunt week! I don't like the username I had to pick, but I'm just glad to have finally gotten in today! It's just a tiny happy during the stressful time I'm having with my grad school stuff.

I can't wait for midnight! I've got a ficlet to post for a prompt on nekid_spike, and I am bouncing to post it! *twirls about*

I should be excited for midnight because of Harry Potter, but sadly I am not likely to be able to see this film in theatre. I've managed to see all the HP films during their opening weekends, most of them even on opening night, but I've got no one to go with and no transport this time. :(

It's now officially May 2nd, and you know what that means! It's Wizarding Independence Day, the day that lovable scamp Harry Potter saved us all from the Dark Lord Voldemort! Someone bring me a Malfoy (or a peroxided blonde of equal or greater hawtness *cough*Spike*cough*) so I can celebrate properly! XD

Finished the book. Can't say that I was thrilled or overly impressed with it. In the same way that Season 7 of Buffy was the weakest season, I feel that Book 7 of HP was the weakest book. This is the only time, I believe, that the movie will turn out far better than the book.
