Another Storm...

We had YET ANOTHER storm rip through our town today. For the first time, we had damage done to our house. It tore the shutters off our windows across the front of our home. I am so sick of this weather.

*hugs* At least it was the shutters and not the roof. We had a lot of limbs break, so I'm glad none of those hit the house. The whole town was without power for hours today. It was so strange.

It was pretty scary, but I'm glad that no one was hurt and the only damage was superficial. I do hope that our landlady decides to cut down some of our closer trees because it's getting very dangerous with all these storms coming closer together, loosening the heavier branches.

Good grief, windy enough to lose shutters can't be good. It makes the news here when the bins fall over :D

There were definitely a lot of bins rolling about in the nearby parking lot. I was just glad we still had a roof. :D I think our landlady is going to be sending someone over to fix the shutters and check the roof as soon as the insurance clears.
