NaNoWriMo-FAIL. :(

Oh, I fail at NaNoWriMo. This is the fifth year I have tried to complete a novel on there, and this is going to be the fifth year of failure. I'm up to 49,013 words, which is the closest I've ever gotten to completion, but sadly the last 2,000 words of that were actually the rough outline for the sequel to the novel I am trying to get up to top mark for... so... I fail. I am beaten down yet again! *falls over*

I guess I was just hoping that this year would be the year that I would finish, but real life really got in the way. I think I've got the "I'll never be published" blues which I get from time to time, but I'll be okay. I'll just try again next year.

Totally not fail! :D Many writers use it to kick start a novel - not to complete it!
