British (Maybe) Colloquialism Question?

I have some words that I'm confused about their usage, and I was hoping that someone could help me?

Is a newsagent a convenience store? And is it pronounced newsagent or newsagents?

Also, what is a newsreader? Is it like a television news anchor person?

In Britain, is a flapjack the same as a pancake or are they considered different?

Are Jaffa Cakes delicious? :D

OH! That looks like a granola bar. It's good to know that flapjacks aren't the same as pancakes across the pond! XD

They're not exactly like a granola bar... similar, but maybe a bit more cookie-like? Or maybe just a really chewy bar?
