Watching Ghost in the Shell on Adult Swim. I've been in an anime mood lately. I'm thinking about going back and rewatching Utena to stave off the WTF-ery of recent days. I mean, when the whole show is nothing but WTF, it makes other things seem normal by comparison. XD If Spike got an animated movie, I'd want Chiho Saito to do the art direction.

I've been heading back to anime, too, amidst the general WTF-ery of fandom. Chiho Saitou is the only mangaka I've bought an art book for (unfortunately I have no idea where all of my manga is - in real life or on my desktop). Kakan no Madonna is probably one of my favorite mangas of all time.

I've been scrolling up and down my f-list all night, pausing to look at the pretty boys, and sighing nostalgically over how much simpler anime fandom was, because we didn't have the mangakas writing condescending press releases informing us that we don't reside on earth. That whole language barrier thing really comes in handy!

Chiho Saito loves making pretty boys shirtless... and not quite right in the head. *cuddles Saionji* Have you ever played the SEGA game? Oh, God, it's nothing but fan-service. You get to play a Mary Sue in the Utenaverse, and you get to pick the character you want to go after (any boy or girl of the main characters... including Chu Chu the monkey rat). No matter which character you pick, you get a shower scene with them and a kiss. I also try to get Saionji because you get to see him in a sarong... and not much else. XD

It's all that goddamned Akio-Car's fault... 'cause people to get naked. Oh, dear sweet Lord, I think that the Akio-Car MUST be powered by Glowhypnol. O_O;;;
