My Christmas Tree...

Since it's my first Christmas in my own apartment (and because I was too much of a cheapskate to buy an actual Christmas tree), I made my own tree from a Styrofoam cone, craft paint, a bottle cap, and old magazines (I guess it's a little bit of upcycling). It cost me less than $5 to make, and it fits within my teeny apartment. XD

looking good.
Our first tree was inflatable, I loved that tree. We've got a fibreoptic one now and that's our only decoration aside from Christmas cards.

That's really, really cool! Was the idea your own or did you find the idea someplace?

I think it's an awesome tree. Mine is a metal curlique tree I bought online for about $20 last year. I do like a real tree but hauling it around and messing with pine needles? Not so much.
