You May Never Look at Giles the Same Way Again...

About five years ago, I purchased a Rocky Horror Picture Show songbook from an old hippie while I was living in New York. And the pictures inside of it made me do a double-take! Instead of seeing Tim Curry as Dr. Frank, there was someone else entirely! "GILES?!!!" *spit-take* I had to scan the images to forever preserve them, which was a good thing because somewhere between moving back to TN and then to M'boro, I lost the songbook (it's probably boxed up somewhere still and not really lost).

It occurred to me that some people may not know that Anthony Stewart Head was in Rocky Horror in the 90's... as Dr. Frank... complete with corsets and garters... So I present to you the scans for your viewing pleasure.

When I met ASH at the Motor City Buffy Con he talked about getting that job and practicing wearing high heels while running the vacuum cleaner at home. His SO was highly amused at the sight.

And omg, James wants to be Frank-N-Furter!! I never knew that. Rawr!! Yes please, there has to be some genie or something to make this happen. (Though since Tim Curry and to a degree Tony are associated in my head with Dr Frank, James does seem a bit on the wee side...)

Tony is the bees knees in his corset & fishnets, great to see him perform - I always wish I'd seen him on stage in the role too.
Before this I'd only seen some vid of Tony & Amber singing Rocky Horror songs at some convention, but they weren't dressed up and the quality of the vid was bad.

If you ever see video on YouTube from the Dragon*Con 2009 Smallville panel, James sings the "I'm just a sweet transvestite" line in a very Marilyn Manson-esque way. It was pretty hot. XD

Squee!! Giles in PINK Dr Frank-n-Furter get up !What could be better! ( yeah, ok, it's Tony, but sometimes I like to think of it as Giles who likes to dress up and is playing Fran-n-Furter on the London stage as relief from the trauma of Twangel).

Where did you get these photos? Did you actually take them yourself? ( Envy Envy if you did.)

That sounds to die for, but I've search Youtube and can't find a vid with this in it. I could only find 4 short clips of the 2009 Smallville panel all from one member, and it doesn't cover the whole thing. Frustration now! ah well :(

BTW in searching for that, I found your vid where you gave James the comic you made of his movie idea. That was such a fab thing to do! Go you! Don't suppose you have it available to view somewhere by us humble mortals?
