I guess I just don't think that their flaws need to be amplified if that's indeed what Joss is deliberately doing and not just a side-effect of these "comics are so DIFFERENT!" mentality, which is sort of the driving force of my displeasure with the whole sorted effort. Lord knows that these characters have enough flaws that they don't need to be given steroids.
