Thanks! This is the first time that anything I've written has been nominated. It's definitely encouraging! :D

*grin* And now that Animated Utopia has five chapters up, it'll qualify in the WIP category at some of the other award sites! *gallops off to check their nominating dates*

*big eyes* Really? *SQUEES*

:D Yep, five chapters seems to be the magic number for most award sites' WIP category, and sometimes for their other categories as well. I'm digging around in btvs_award_info right now; it's a great place for tracking award sites:

*sporfle* Where's an edit button when you need one? I just realized I called it Animated Utopia instead of "Automated." XD

Hehe, it's okay. XD I appreciate you looking for places to nominate me. I'm glad you like my stuff. Yay!

what's a "Drabble"? is it like Scrabble, but with a speech impediment?

[identity profile] fenderlove.livejournal.com 2009-03-16 10:14 pm (UTC)(link)
A drabble is an extremely short little fanfiction. If your fic is long (over chapter length), then it's just a fic. If your fic is somewhat short (under a chapter length), it's a ficlet. If it's very short (less than half a chapter length), then it's a drabble.

awww, you guys have the cutest terminology. "ficlet." i love it!

Yes, yes we do. :D Drabble, ficlet, squee, kerfluffle! XD
